Winner of the Devon Environmental Award 2016

Very, very exciting news hot off the press! Tonight we are very proud to have won the 2016 Devon Environmental (Debi) Award for “Educated in Devon” because of our strong relationships, courses and outdoor based activities that provide education support to schools across the South West and many hundreds of children.

This award category has been established to recognise businesses, schools and community groups who provide innovative educational programs that encourage and stimulate environmental awareness across Devon. Encouraging youngsters to consider the environmental impact of their behaviour inspires future business leaders to value the environment and understand why it is important to avoid environmental damage.

As an organisation we truly believe in delivering outdoor Forest School based education that makes a difference and is inclusive of everyone, no matter how old you are, your background or your stage in life.
The Devon Environmental awards are held every year to pay tribute to the organisations of any size in the Devon region, encompassing business, the public sector, community and education and their efforts to operate in a sustainable and environmentally friendly manner.

As always, thank you for your ongoing support and positivity – it has helped shape who we are as an organisation.
