Safeguarding Children Level 3

This is a two-day, course for staff with safeguarding responsibilities as Designated Safeguarding Lead (DSL) or Deputy DSL, and/or those working regularly with children and young people who have a duty to learn more about child protection and have a responsibility to ensure that everyone in your organisation is following best safeguarding and child protection practices

  • Early Help process to be and making judgements
  • Safeguarding roles and responsibilities
  • Understand the threshold tool and sharing information
  • Know the enquiry process and how to make a good enquiry
  • Set up systems in school to ensure compliance
  • Communicating worries and concerns
  • Allegations and complaints
  • Know where to go for support and advice
