This 1 day CPD workshop is designed to be a fun forest school day for Forest School Leaders and Assistants. It is a chance to experience some forest school activities which can be used with children. This is a great opportunity to have a session specifically about Forest School Activities and is not about completing coursework, but about using Forest School in action!
The day will provide examples of games, micro teaching sessions, crafts, nature connection and mindfulness. You will be encouraged to have fun playing games and re-engage with your inner 8 year old: it’s just as important for adults to play as it is for children! This is also a great opportunity to refresh your love of Forest School, share knowledge with your peers and skill share.

“It reminded me of why I fell in love with Forest School many years ago, and particularly of the huge wellbeing benefits of reconnecting with nature in a mindful way…I could have happily spent the whole session sitting at my ‘sit spot’ in the woods listening to the soundscape around me.”
“The Games and Activities course was really good and run very well by Tally and Neil, it was good to have a variety of active and creative ideas shown to us and also to mix up individual and group game /activities.
