Creating An Awesome Community

As you may know, here at TOG, we have six important values that we hold close to our heart as a company, one of which is to ‘Create an Awesome Community’. This means that we believe in the power of the communities we create and serve, our community of team members, and giving back to the communities we live in. So, after such a difficult year, as well as supporting our staff, learners and customers, we also wanted to give something back to a local charity who have been making a real difference; The Exeter Chiefs Foundation fit the bill perfectly!

Supporting Local Charities

Formed in 2011, The Exeter Chiefs Foundation exists to raise vital funds for several charities who provide support in and around the city of Exeter. So far, the organisation has raised almost £2m and helped over 120 charities including Action for Children, Exeter Age UK and Calvert Trust Exmoor to name just a few. To ensure the Foundation can continue their fantastic work, we’re taking on the challenge of raising £1,500 for them in the next academic year. This means that from September (2021), we’ll be asking you, our wonderful staff, learners and customers, to get involved with our fundraising and help us reach this target by next September (2022)!

Fundraising Fun!

From campfire cook-offs to a sponsored sleep under the stars, we’ve got some great ideas that we’ll be holding throughout the year to help us get the ball rolling with our fundraising. However, we’ll be on the lookout for more to ensure we can reach our target of £1,500, so if you’ve got any suggestions for an event or initiative, please get in touch via as we’d love to hear more!

Get Involved….

In the meantime, watch this space, keep your eyes peeled for some wacky and wild fundraising events and do what you can to look after those in your local community as every effort, no matter how large or small, will always be appreciated.
